ABOUT THE TOOL
A few practical details.
What it does
CarouselCut divides static images into ordered files. You can choose original-pixel splitting or explicitly select a fixed slide shape, crop and output format. The tool does not publish images to social media.
Your files and your rights
Use images you own or have permission to edit. Opening a file in the splitter does not transfer ownership. Exported user images contain no added CarouselCut watermark.
Check the result before publishing
Preview the pieces and verify their order, dimensions and appearance in your destination app. Browser color conversion and resizing can affect the result. Original image metadata is not retained. PNG avoids extra lossy compression; JPG and WebP quality settings can change detail and file size.
Supported files and limits
Use a static PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 25 MB, with at most 40 million pixels and neither side over 20,000 pixels. Up to 10 carousel slides or 64 grid pieces are supported. Device memory may impose smaller practical limits. Animation, SVG, HEIC, PDF and video are not supported.
Independent tool
CarouselCut is not affiliated with Canva, Instagram or other design and publishing platforms. References to them describe workflows; their features and requirements can change.
No file recovery
The tool does not upload or keep a backup of your source. Keep the original file and check downloads before closing the tab. This version has no account or cloud support service.
